[1969] Mark Ellis Memorial?

Hi all,
Thanks to Dave for reminding us all that it's been a year...it seems like yesterday that Mark passed. Every day I see things here in my collection that came from Mark or that I knew he would have loved to see, and it's still very hard to realize I can't share them with him. 
Many times, while slaving over my 50th Anniversary articles for the Communique, I've felt Mark's presence watching over my shoulder, inspiring me to keep writing even if I had to stay up all night. He thought nothing about giving his all for volunteer projects like that....you did what had to be done, right? Whatever it took for the Corvair! Sadly, there isn't that kind of dedication in CXORSA "leadership" any more.
The first thing we need to do is cover the cost of printing and mailing the last "Ellis" issue of the 69er that he had almost ready to go when he left us. Damn it guys, let's get off the pot and DO IT. It's the right thing to do. If we have any kind of 69 Group worth perpetuating, we owe it to Mark and Eve to do this (not to mention the pleasure it would give us to read it). 
I've said it before that I'll pledge part of the cost. If no one takes action on getting this done, I'll be very disappointed in our group. It would be a fitting one year memorial to Mark. And it's WAY overdue!
