I too was thrilled, although it was bittersweet. Seeing my picture and 
story in print was a total surprise. I'd been corresponding with Mark 
since Nov 30, 2007 just after purchasing my '69. In his last email to me 
on Jan 30, 2008 he mentioned that he was intending to include my story 
in the April issue. Though I never met Mark I feel enough of a 
connection to know he was a special person.

As for the discount documentation, I'm not sure if this is what you're 
looking for, but I do have the Purchaser (pink) copy of the "Application 
for 1969 Model Chevrolet Corvair Purchase Certificate". The application 
states that "this certificate shall be redeemable for the sum of $150 on 
the purchase of any other 1969 through 1973 Model Chevrolet Passenger Car".
