[1969] Officers

I would like to thank Marvin, Sarah, Ed and Ken who made a valiant attempt
to keep the 69'er group going. They did a lot of hard work with very little
support. I know Eve wants to continue to compile the list of '69 VINs and I
also know that she has experienced financial difficulty since Mark's passing
which has made it hard for her. The only way for the 69'er group to survive
is for a dedicated leader to step forward with the time and energy to make
it so. I would be more than happy to contribute dues to keep the group going
but we will need a strong leader like Mark to get us back on track. Is there
anyone out there willing to take on the job?

The 69 Group

To answer some questions about the last officers of the group. I was the
last President but due to health issues (heart attack) and health problems
of my family. I decided not to run for office last December. I posted this
on the Group E-Mail list several times but know one responed or ran for the
office. Also Sarah Beltrami did not run for Vice-President leaving two
offices empty. Ed Thompson was the last Treasurer and Ken Amick was the
Newsletter Editor. I hope you understand why I am not involved with the
Group as I was in the past. Health is one reason but also I did not have a
roster or records like Mark did. Thank You for supporting me in the past.
