[1969] Any Opposed?

Three cheers for everyone who's offered an opinion and offered to help!
We've had the interest all along, but now we have had the spark to ignite
the effort. Let's get our favorite model Corvair back on the road! [Well,
I have a Lakewood, a Spyder, and a Corsa too, so it's difficult to show
favoritism!]

I'm ready, willing, and somewhat able to help where and when I can.

Hello Everyone,

It's been a long day for me heading out to Gettysburg, PA from NJ, problems
with the truck, had to have it flatbedded back to NJ, then got in the car
and headed back out to Gettysburg. Just got online with the laptop and was
floored with all the responses and offers for the '69 Group. I'm flattered
and thrilled with the interest that's been generated the past two weeks.
I'll do my best to help Steve and John to restore the interest in the '69's,
and want to thank Sarah & Dave and everyone else who kept the group going
with minimal help and a rather general lack of interest on the part of most
of us. We are a special breed, within a special breed, and I look forward to
doing all I can to grow the group, and interest in it. Thank you very much
for your support!

That's a FANTASTIC idea Phil! I'm thinking while it's still fresh on
veryone's mind, now would be a good time to think about doing so. You
ffered to help? Well careful what you ask for....
Although an editor has not officially been named or stepped forward, feel
ree to send a short [or long] story of you and your 69 to myself. I'll hold
hem aside and forward them to the editor to be. Please include a picture of
our car as well. Weather it's a project for a later date or the lowest
ileage 69 in existence we want to hear about it. The 69 Group is an
ttitude free zone so don't be embarrassed of your car. ALL 69's have a
lace here.
If your 69 Corvair is still alive it surely must have a story to tell. I
now mine does! Just keep it clean boys and girls...hahaha..
My email is jcwingle at comcast.net
Thank you all again for your support.

 Hey-
All For. Thanks to those folks who have stepped up to offer
 their time as officers.

It may be slightly premature, but for everyone on this list, we
need to support the newsletter once it get up and running again, as
this is often the main communication of a group. As the newsletter
editor for a CORSA chapter, it can be very frustrating to have to
scramble for material. Therefore I'd like to recommend that everyone
here take a picture of yourself, your '69, and write a short
description of your car, any outings, or current projects. This would
keep our editor in material for quite a while and I for one would like
to know who we all are besides just names on a list.

 Regards,
 Phil Richardson
