Happy New Year!

On behalf of my fellow group officers, I am pleased to announce the following:

The Sixty Niner Newsletter - The January 2011 Sixty-Niner is near completion and distribution is anticipated within the next couple of weeks!  If you have not replied to the email from Dave Leonard to confirm your contact information or if you did not receive the email from Dave, please do so as soon as possible. It is important to update your information and provide an email address to assure that our directory information is correct and that you recieve the rosters and newsletters! The 1969 Corvair Vehicle Roster - A complimentary updated vehicle roster will be available soon to all members in good standing, so stay tuned. 

The 1969 Corvair Group Member Roster - A complimentary updated member roster will also be available soon to all members in good standing.

Distribution of the rosters and newsletter will be via email.  We know that some members would prefer to receive a paper copy by mail but it is easier, cheaper, and more ecological to go this way rather than to mass produce and mail.  Individuals are free to print their own paper copy and most people have access to a printer these days.  That said, we are aware that there may be members that do not have email, to whom we are reaching out, and we will make arrangements to get them paper copy.  

Membership renewal is due in January 2011 (this month) for all members. Dues are still only $5 and may be paid via paypal to vairguy64 at yahoo.com or by mail to John Wingle, 32 Porter Street, Taunton, MA 02780 

Denver - We need a Committee Chairperson for The 2011 National Convention in Denver, CO.  If you are interested in planning and organizing our Group meeting and activities please let me know.  If you are willing to help out in any way, please let me know.  Even if you don't think you can help out at this time, please let me know if you plan to attend so that we can get an idea of how many to expect.  

Last but not least, we need to hear from you! - Our newsletter will be much richer and more interesting if we have pictures and stories of 1969s and their owners!  Don't be shy; a short update, a picture or two. You don't have to write a lot and it doesn't have to be prose. (We have an editor for that!).  Jim is waiting to hear from you at corvair at frontiernet.net
