VIN: 105379W704565. Someone painted it burgundy, but the paint is about the
last thing that needs to be completed to this car. Engine was rebuilt by Tom
Shrum when he was still active in Cactus Corvair Club. Auto transmission has
been professionally rebuilt. Gas tank and sending unit and brakes are new.
Car was not a A/C car when I got it so I have added everything in the dash.
The A/C needs the hoses run from the evaporator to the engine compartment.
The engine originally was a 110 now it has a 140+++ so I have rotators for
the carbs (currently has 2 blocked off). I have a new Sanden compressor to
go on the hi-rise mount that I bought from the fellow in TX. It has a
superb original interior except for new carpeting which I added. It has been
garaged for the last 10+ years. I have new chrome except for bumpers which
are in good condition and can be re-chromed (it has the vertical bars also
front/rear).. I took off all the weather stripping thinking I would have it
painted but now think a new owner should paint it the color they want, maybe
the original white would be best. I have new weather stripping from Clarks.
I have a 140 instrument panel available if someone is interested in buying
it for $300.
The car has not been run for 2+ years so it will need some prep before it is
driven, but that should not be a major problem for an mechanically
knowledgeable buyer. I have well over $8,500 invested in the car, but I
want $4,900. for the car, including extra parts for it. Car is being sold in
an as is condition,
I am located in Litchfield Park, AZ which is a suburb of Phoenix, AZ.
