Mark, what you're describing looks like the same one used on most 1968 Chevys such as Impalas and Chevelles.? The same pattern was used for rhe light switch.? You're correct that Chevy used them on 69 Corvairs as well, even though other Chevys got a different knob for 1969...Bill Hershkowitz.?66 Monza Sport Sedan 110 PG-A/C

They have nothing that even resembles the correct blade lighter.

My '69 had one, and I've seen others with the part. But as the one guy points out. sometimes the factory violated the engineer's specs just to get the car out the door.
