[1969] 1969 500 Trim Tag code question

 Hi Charlie,
Great to hear from you old friend, as always. Congrats on your find of 1969 #1663.

Mark Ellis and I had no record of 1663 as of our last roster update, on which the 69 Group's roster is based. The latest 69 Group roster I have is dated 9/15 and there's still no 1663 on it. If a newer roster than that has been updated I sure would appreciate a link or the file :-)

1969s no longer had options stamped on the Fisher Body data plate. The 10A indicates the BODY build week as the first week of October and the D is the interior paint color which is blue.

It's anybody's guess as to why the engine was replaced with a '65. Maybe the origuinal engine was stolen for dune buggy use, which wasn't uncommon at that time.

BTW your link took me to the CORSA FB page, not yours. I'd like to have a pic of the Fisher plate for my files if you couple please send it.

I found a clean 1969 500 coupe that I'd like to register if not already
listed?

This link is to my PUBLIC Facebook page for pix:

I'd like to know more about this car if you have anything in the registry?

I may know the shop that serviced the car, but here is what I know so far:

VIN 101379 W 101663, BDY # 149228 Options 10A and D.
She seems to be in great shape, but with 1965 Monza trim and a 1965 110
engine (T0925RU and NOT the VIN on the block.)
She has 42000 showing on the odometer, and the body seems to support NOT
being 142K, but why replace the engine so early?
This is a "one owner" car, bought new in 1969 with the original 1969 blue
and yellow CA plates
A few anomalies on the trim tag that I hope someone can decode for me?
I looked on the Forum but TMI there, and none really describes what I want
to know.

Any info would be much appreciated!

Thanks!
Charles Lee

Or, hopefully long ago someone didn't replaced the left side of the case.
