[1969] Front Brake Hoses

Hello,

I’ve had to replace the rubber brake hoses on my ‘69. I purchased them from Clark’s. I discovered that the repro front hoses have a much shorter wrench flat area on the flare nut than the OEM items. I can’t fit my flare nut wrench to tighten the fitting. Very irritating!

I’m sure I’m not the only one to have run into this problem. Has anyone come up with a way of dealing with this? Perhaps a specialized tool or some method of being able to properly torque the fitting?
