I would check them all on the way out and possibly at check points.  Too
easy to stop just before returning and return the tires and engine to proper
operating points.

Otherwise, I agree with every point Brian makes.

I hate our local economy run for its safety aspect.  I've seen too many run
red lights, run stop signs (not just slow-n-gos), and crossing double yellow
lines with all 4 tires.  IMHO you should be disqualified for any of those
but how do you catch it?  I guess I should do my usual and just boycott the
things I don't like?
