Scott
Discussion was to be asked last week and anytime after the topic was brought up in Detroit board meeting. I have answered questions when anyone has asked prior to last week. According to policies and procedures the topic should have come up for vote and not been discussed. If you felt the need to table the discussion for more information then you should have just asked to table it then. I hate to see all this wasted time. I have offered to answer your questions but still haven't had a response from you.
Does this motion fulfill the purpose of our organization as stated in the by-laws. I like this question, do all motions we make have to fulfill a purpose of the organization. What by-law does this topic have to meet.?
Is this the way the board is going to continue to operate until next Summer? Will two day meetings at the convention help get more done. I hear I you are very proud of the picture you took of me at this years convention board meeting dosing off. I take my job seriously enough I flew down with no sleep the night before, to be delayed at airport with no sleep and drove to Jacksonville arriving at 7:30AM. I asked Tim if he had a pillow and blanky as I wasn't sure I could stay awake all day. In hind sight I put CORSA first before my family and I am not sure with what was accomplished at that meeting and since it was worth it.
This board has been worthless since January when your ti raid started. You hate Mike and Harry period. I don't know what your personal problem is but it has affected the whole board. THIS IS A CAR CLUB for fun..NOT Hatred.
Jack took your turn after Jacksonville with the constant Policies and Procedures. Yes we need to work on them but as it stands we will have great policies and procedures and a club that ceased to exist because we neglected it.
The DMM award was a fun award for autocrossing. It wasn't intended to start a war. Donna Mae would roll over in her grave if she knew the trouble this award motion caused. People think she isn't worthy of being honored because she didn't still drive a Corvair. This lady was so honored to be at our convention in 2005 and meet all wonderful Corvair enthusiast. She said she had never felt so at home and loved by a group.

> Why are the guidelines only recommended in the motion - does this mean that the rewards will be ever changing at every convention and not static.
>
> Why are the listing of the class and position optional. Will this in any way delay the awards presentation or the making of the awards. Will this add to the cost of the reward.
>
> Will the awards be made on site to facilitate the ease of the "opt out" options provided.

> Where is the side note that the rewards will be off site by the generous donations of ---- & ------ and for exactly how many years these awards be subsidized.
>
> Will these monies be deposited into a separate line item account in the event anything unfortunate was to happen to those generous offerings (please forgive the assumptions that these thoughts may inject)
>
> Out of respect for Ms Mimms and her competitive achievements - would she approve of the option to "opt out" of a position and class being NOT recognized on a reward of a competitive nature or would she let the chips fall where they do.
