Because someone representing your chapter asked that you be added as a CORSA Chapter contact.  Given your signature below, this seems like an accurate description.

Click on the link to the list info on the bottom of every message from the list, enter your e-mail address, and you can get the server to send you the password.

Any attachment sent to the list is archived on the server, rather than simply re-mailed to everyone.  The specific example Bruce sent is about a Corvair event in the southeast, so my answer is "maybe".
