Sarah.with all due respect, Jack had paralyzed the BoD. My frustration was
borne out in my recent editorial.which pissed everyone off.

He's a classic passive-aggressive whose entire validation is found in
conflict. He was totally tone deaf and would listen to nothing anyone else
had to say. His membership on the BoD brought only conflict, paralysis and
futility. Not a good environment.

The sad thing is that Jack had some good ideas and was willing to pitch in,
as evidenced by his visiting all the clubs in his area.

Not going to go any further with you Tim. I said it all below. I have
everything I need to back up what I have said.

I have spoken to Jack and like I said, he knows it will be a witch hunt and
doesn't want his name dragged through the mud anymore.

I am going to post this letter on VV since you opened the door.

Resign!!!

Number 1 - Harry and Mike had informed me of nothing. All chapter rep
have access to the chapter DB -- who is and who is not a CORSA member -- it
is part of the online chapter reporting system -- but alas, Sarah does not
use that system.

Number 2 - I was very reluntant to send the note. However, I had to my job,
which was to abide by the by-laws. A lapse in membership terminates a board
member's term on the board. The by-laws does not state 1 month or 3 weeks,
just a lapse.

Number 3 - I can put Dec 15 2009 on my check even thought it is Jan 7, 2010.
The date doesn't mean anything except for how long the bank may honor an old
check.<banks may or may not honor a check that is over 6 months old>

Number 4 - Jack was given 30 days to ask to be re-appointed. Jack chose not
to say a word -- not even to protest. Considering Jack protested EVERY
thing else the board did, why did he not protest this action? Silence does
not mean yes, but it does tend to mean acceptance. Jack has been silent for
over a month.

Number 5 - Jack objections were refluted repeeatedly as being unneccessary
or simply wrong. Not just by me, but many, a majorty, of the rest of the
board.

Number 6 - I was not seeking to have Jack removed from the board. In fact, i
argued that the by-laws did not allow it. I was trying to get Jack to
understand that I and the majority of the board felt the rules were being
followed, and the by-laws and procedures were fine as they are. we even had
outside opinions to that fact. But because Jack was not getting his way, he
objected.

Finally -- If the board and the chapters wants me to step down. I will. I
have a paying job that i enjoy. I do not need to be trashed for doing my
duty -- and all while being a volunteer myself. Life is too short.

Okay, I have waited long enough. To this I cry, BULLSHIT, Tim!!!!!

What you did was out and out wrong. You need to grow up and at the very
least is resign or step down as President.

Jack was a pain in the ass to you and every other Board member and you
wanted him gone. In fact less then 2 months ago I received an email from a
Board member stating that you were trying to get Jack off the Board and did
I know of any way to do this? I told that person I was unsure as I didn't
have any paperwork with me. I personally sent you an email regarding this
and you said you were not trying to do that.

Jack wanted everyone to play by the rules and because of this nothing was
getting accomplished within the Board. Since you knew this from the very
beginning, you all should have stopped what you were doing, and corrected a
few of the issues Jack had and then the Board would have been good to
continue on with it's business.

So the next easiest thing to do was to get Jack on the rules, since he
pressed that things be handled by the rules and regulations. So you called
Harry or Mike and found out when Jack's dues were due. There is no other
way you would have known when they were due unless you asked Harry or Mike.
You then laid in wait and PREYED on Jack. Harry claims he did not tell
you...again how else would you have known the expration date of Jack's dues.

Jack's check was dated November 1, 2009. CORSA claims the check was
received in the P.O. Box 2 - 3 days late. Becuase of a 1 -2 days lapse you
TERMINATED his postion.

That is just wrong Tim. I can see a 3 weeks to a month as unacceptable for
late dues, but 2 -3 days? Do we know for a fact CORSA checks it's mail
everyday? No they do not. If you had Harry & Mike checking for Jack's
check on a daily basis, then that is wrong as well. They check the mail box
once maybe twice a week if we are lucky and we all know it. Incidentially,
what is the exact day someone's dues is up?

Can we prove when the payment was there? I know Mike & Harry don't keep
envelopes with date stamps, if they kept his why? Even during a convention
with price increases for pre-registrations, Harry allows a 1- 2 week grace
period. I know this for a fact because I did registration in 2000 & 2009.
So why draw the line here and now with Jack? No other reason then you
wanted him gone and off the Board.

In order for Jack to be re-instated, he needs to have one Western Division
Director suggest him. Then the entire BoD needs to vote on him. Since Jack
made life a little difficult on the Board, all of the Board would vote no.
Then you have a witch hunt. Very ugly indeed.

Tim, I like you as a person, but you should be ashamed of yourself for how
you handled this. I have spoken to Jack. He is very upset and his feelings
are deeply hurt. How can you treat volunteers like this? He is a person
just like you. You can't go around hurting people like this. It's because
of this and many other issues CORSA is failing and miserably.

I hope all of you reading this go back and discuss with your Chapters what
Tim, his fellow Boards members, and whatever part Harry & Mike played here
have done to a human being and the CORSA organization as a whole. I know
several of us have spoken at Central Florida Corvairs and we are disgusted
with Tim and CORSA for allowing this to happen.

Sarah

I am also seeking candidates to fill a vacancy left with the termination of
Jack Pinards term of Offiice. Jack has not sought re-appointment after his
membership lapsed last month; Jack did renew but the by-laws state no break
in membership is allowed. The re-appointment was offered to comply with the
by-laws. However, it has been more than 30 days and the board (no one on the

board) has heard from Jack. It is presumed Jack did not want to continue.
Thus I need suggestions for a person to serve Jack remaining term (to about
a month before the 2012 convention)

thanks
tim mahler
