Over $100 for adding a white ring looks a bit steep to me.  I'll stick with blackwalls.

  I wrote Diamond Back Tires about obtaining 185-80R13 tires and they responded that they "add whitewalls to modern radial tires.   You can order a 135/80R13 with a 5/8" whitewall from us.  These are $172 each plus shipping." Their website is:

  So it looks like we'll have to start ordering collector tires from this vendor.
