I realize that the schedule information posted here

http://www.corvair.org/chapters/necc/convention/itinerary.htm

is only an overview and lacks specific details, but it has been there 
for a couple of months now and is referenced both on the CORSA home page 
and in the Communique.  As Harry Jensen noted there is a lot to be 
coordinated and confirmed before a detailed schedule can be released.

As for providing information on alternate hotels, it is the 
organization's obligation to fill the host hotel first, because our use 
of meeting rooms and related facilities is tied to sleeping room 
bookings.  We posted a list of alternatives quite literally the day that 
the host hotel sold its last room, so I think we've been pretty 
responsible to all concerned.

Glad you found a room at a favorable price.  Thank you for your interest 
in the 2012 CORSA Convention.

> P.S. FWIW, this year, I (just today) picked up room reservations at the Motel 6 for almost HALF the host hotel rate, and found that Super 8 is about $30 MORE than the host hotel. But my above complaint still stands.
