Portland was pretty nice. In 1993, San Jose hosted. A week before the  
convention the temps peaked at over 100. I had "sold" San Jose to the Board as a 
 good alternative to those "hot, Southern cities" (Lon listed a few) I  
thought they were going to kill me. The temps broke a couple of days before the 
 93 Convention started and the day stayed in the low 80s all week. Whew! -

it's a  fair conversation but one that has never been well received.  In  
going to 27 Internationals I'll say that the most comfortable was  
Portland in 2005 - Low 80's humidity 30's. But that's just me.
