> Robert Bruce Heltemes (Bob Helt) died on April 18, 2018 in Las Vegas,
> Nevada. Bob was born in 1930 in Helena, Montana, the son of Clemens and
> Marie (DePlazes) Heltemes.
> Bob graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Dakota
> Agricultural College in 1952 and entered the Air Force. Bob was a
> pioneering computer engineer with Remington Rand in Philadelphia,
> Pennsylvania. He continued his work in computers in Phoenix, Arizona, where
> he earned an M.B.A. from Arizona State University in 1971.
> Bob was a nationally known author and expert on the Corvair. He was a past
> president of the International Corvair Society, CORSA, on its Board of
> Directors for many years, and its first lifetime member. Most recently, he
> was active in the Vegas Vairs.
> Bob was predeceased by wife Mary Alice (Mulligan) Heltemes, former wife
> Marguerite (Churney) Heltemes, wife Dolores (Sauvageau) Heltemes, brother
> Clemens Heltemes, sister Marilyn Easter, and daughter Patricia Davidson.
> His daughters Maia Bonner, Rebecca Ferguson, and Mary Sue Mulligan survive
> him. He also leaves sons-in-law Keith Ferguson and William Eccleston, eight
> grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
> Services and burial will take place at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial
> Cemetery at 12 noon on Thursday, April 26. Friends are invited to attend.
