<CORSA Chapters> Passing of Joe Darinsig's Grandson

Dear Club Members,

Please keep Joe Darinsig and his family in your thoughts and prayers.  Joe's
grandson, Brendan, passed away suddenly last Wednesday while playing
Lacrosse. Below is a copy of the obituary from the York Daily News.

 



   Brendan J. O'Connor

York - Brendan J. O'Connor, 22, entered into rest Wednesday September 19,
2018 at Bryn Mawr Hospital after being overcome while playing Lacrosse.

Viewings will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, both at St.
Joseph Church 2935 Kingston Rd. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at
10 a.m. at the church with Rev. James Menkhus OFM Cap as celebrant. Burial
will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery with military rites. The John W. Keffer Funeral
Homes and Crematory, Inc., East York, is assisting with the arrangements. 

Brendan was born October 6, 1995 in Harrisburg, a son of John C. and Terry
J. (Darinsig) O'Connor of York. He proudly served his country as a member of
the US Marine Corps

D=512>  Reserves. He was a graduate of York Catholic Senior High School,
where he played Lacrosse and Football. He was a graduate of Wells College,
where he was a four-year Lacrosse team member. He was a member of St. Joseph
Church. 

Brendan is survived by his parents; brothers Liam C. O'Connor and Aidan J.
O'Connor; maternal grandfather Joseph Darinsig; paternal grandmother Anna
Mary O'Connor; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family, and
friends who loved him.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
