An excellent suggestion and idea.  I believe it is up to the individual originating the e-mail that eventually goes out through Chapters.  From what I've seen, it's the original e-mail that might have a half page of e-addresses, and not the part from Chapters.  Also, if you receive a message, a Corvair newsletter perhaps that does have a lot of addresses in it and plan to forward, please take the time to delete them.
