<CORSA Chapters> CORSA - Nominations - Shake a Leg!

Hi Everybody,
At the most recent CORSA Board of Directors Zoom meeting on January 3rd, I asked VP Jerry Brown if he had received any nominations for positions that will be opening up on the Board this year.  He answered, "no".  
The call for nominations went out in the November / December Communique.  That's almost 2 1/2 months ago.  Here is what the article said:

2023 CORSA Director Nominations Window Opens 
 
CORSA members, this is your opportunity to help theorganization and become part of the Board of Directors to help direct and steerour club into the future.   
 
The Openings: Three Director positions that will be up for election in2023; one in the Eastern Division, one in the Central Division and one in theWestern Division.  Three of thosepositions are currently held by incumbents who may or may not choose to run again.   [ Note:  You can tell who the affected incumbents are by looking at list of CORSA officers that appears in the Communique. ]
 
Job Description: The roles and responsibilities of the Board of Directors aredescribed in the CORSA and CPF bylaws posted on the CORSA website.  We also have a Division Director jobdescription there.  Log on to the CORSAwebsite at www.corvair.org and click on CORSA Rules, Forms, etc.  
 
Nomination Process: To be nominated for election, send a brief notice of intent,submit a recent portrait photo, and write a brief bio and statement on how youplan to contribute to CORSA as a board member. The due date is February 10, 2023. The submissions should be sent to CORSA / CPF Vice President Jerry Brown(that’s me) at aircooled63 at yahoo.com or call 803-225-0005.  To be considered, you must be a CORSA memberin good standing,  If you are electedyour term will begin at the CORSA Board meeting during the 2023 convention inWisconsin Dells.  Good luck!
