We hope you had a happy holidays filled with friends, family, laughs and
maybe even a ride or two in your Corvair between bomb cyclones 😃

A few notes to finish up 2024 and take us into 2025!

*Dues are due!*

It's that time of year again! In Jan, we like to kick off the year by
collecting dues. It helps us plan out events for the upcoming year. Things
like the zoom account, the webpage, website domain, paper newsletters (and
postage), the picnic and vault event all come at a cost, so we appreciate
your continued support.

$25 for full membership, $15 for associate membership. You can pay via
paypal or mail a check.

*New Feature on Website*

It was mentioned on the last zoom call and at our holiday party about
making a local message board for members to help with a part, loan a tool,
go for a drive, whatever may come up. There are two Corvair forums and
probably 100 or more Facebook "groups", but as some of you who use these
can attest to, posts can quickly get lost in the ether.

With the SFBA member group, we are expecting much less and more local
traffic so we are counting on it to be a benefit of membership. You *do*
need to have an account on the site, but it's free and it's safe. It's also
very new, so if you have ideas to improve it, please let us know! Josh will
give a tutorial on the next zoom call.

Speaking of zoom calls, our next one is this Thurs already! 1/2 at 7pm.
Please join us. Members and guests are always welcome. The zoom room number
can be found in each issue of the Spyder Web newsletter.

Oh, one more thing!
The "members cars" section on the webpage is starting to look a little
tired. We want to update that for 2025. We have a lot of pics from the
Vault and other SFBA events, but know that some of you can't always attend.
If you want to share a photo or two of your car, please send it to
sfbacorsa at gmail.com and we will put it up!
For some members privacy, names and locations of owners and cars will not
appear on the website.

That's all for now! Thank you all again for a great 2024. We really did A
LOT this year and are looking forward to even more Corvair fun in 2025.
