Hello CORSA Chapters,

Director Rick Sanford brought this editorial to the Boards attention on the
last call. He was kind enough to scan and share it with other members of
the board.

After reading it, I thought it was worthwhile to share with all of you as a
helpful primer for your chapters and for when you are out with your Corvair
sharing the benefits of CORSA and local chapter membership.

Since my arrival on the board in 2020, my laser focus goal has been to
bring more attention to chapters and to CORSA through social media.

As many of you have witnessed, CORSA and some chapters have taken some
lumps in the various online forums and groups for a number of reasons.
Setting aside personal grudges and trolling, CORSA membership remains
strong and some chapters have seen upticks in membership.

It is important for the long term health of your chapter and CORSA that we
continue to drive this message home. Social media is a great way to get
your chapter out there. Please don't feel like this is the ONLY way. What
may work for one chapter may not work for another.

Find something that has or continues to work for your chapter and lean into
it. If you have a tip of what has drawn members and would like to share,
please drop me a line vondeitch at gmail.com and I will be happy to talk more.
