CORSA 2012: Convention report

It's Tuesday at 2 PM.  Got here yesterday at 1PM.Beautiful, big hotel.  makes ours look a little shabby.  We'll need a great convnetion to overcome this preception. Got welcome letter at front desk.  We'll need one.  Hospitaliyt in 2 very small rooms.Separate RV/trilering park but no guides.  Small signs.  trailers every where mass confusion.  We NEED parkig chief.
registration good but needed smaller lots of packets.  Here 'A' to "n' or so big wait.  Only one door to registration room.  Traffic jam.Schedule conflicts for main events!
Hospitality lady said they bought supplies like soda over course of months using sales at store.  Donated home made cookies, etc.
Everyone I talk to positive about our plans.  Not so some on BOD.
Clarks' has area 24 paces by 14 paces and wanted more.  Using 31 6ft tables.
This morning went to BOD meeting,  started 45 minutes late!Continued resitance to Saturday concours.  harry Jensen and larry Claypool insist that 9 hours at IOWA is OK. harry says they 'tweked' data base to speed up postings.  Have meeting scheduled for 10 AM Saturday to review hoe posting went here.
