CORSA 2012: Economy Run and more

While I respect the NECC for trying to do a different convention I feel I
must speak to the latest development about the dropping of the economy run.
I know it is not a requirement to hold one but please keep this in mind; we
are already upsetting the concours people do we REALLY want to alienate more
participants? The economy run is a measure of one's ability to get ones car
running to peak performance. This is a VERY popular event. Corvair owners,
heck even modern car owners, strive to get their cars running to the
absolute best possible running condition. Showing the abilities of the car
and the owner is a matter of bragging rights and mechanical prowess. I URGE
the NECC to reconsider this event.
