Great news. Thanks to all you guys. There isn't a full blown meeting on Saturday the 14th. I'm driving up to Sturbridge on Friday the 13th arriving about noon. I'll spend the afternoon looking for a local T shirt shop. I had a plan to get a young guy in the Corvair community named Kevin Clark to come to the convention and make shirts on the spot. He has a business making shirts and has made them for NECC in the past.
I spoke to him at the recent Performance Workshop--before my van was hit by lightning. Ar first he was very interested by later changed his mind. So, I'm trying to find a T shirt shop in the area. The convention folks at Denver did this and it was a success. A local shop set up in the vendor area and took orders for T shirts, polo shirts and hats either with the convention logo or a picture of their car. They made them over night and brought the finished items in the next day. No leftovers and no expense only profit for the convention.
If anyone know of a shop in the area, let me know.
On Saturday about noon, I'd like to meet with the rally guys at the hotel and possibly run the route or at least see a map of the two. In the morning (time not yet fixed) I'm meeting with John T. and the guy who will make the trophy plaques we need.
Sunday, Ken Klingaman, Ray Zabinski and I are going to Stafford Spring ace track. The track is having a swap meet which will allow us to tour the facilities.
On Sunday April 22, I'm meeting with the registration folks out on Long Island.
Anyone who wants to attend any of these meeting should contact me.
The game is on!

Brian.
Today we (all 4 of us) again made the trip to Sturbridge. We discussed the Rally and ran the "B" route which is (clockwise). Bob and I ran the "A" route (counter clockwise) a couple of weeks ago. All the land marks, information, points of interest / questions have been verified. We will need a few pylons from the autocross to establish our start/finish point.
We will have a check point at approximately the middle of the route to welcome the participants and allow food and pit stop time.
We are still looking at about 65 miles and 2-3 hours to complete the rally. The parking lot we will use has been again verified and appropriate contacts make. We would like a copy of the CORSA insurance coverage in a while.
We will run the routes again following the exact exact "A" and "B" directions to assure the directions / questions will be as explicit as possible. We do not want anybody to get lost. Copy sent to CORSA only!
I suggested in the bail out envelope that we give the GPS location of the finish for those who quit, do get lost etc. along with a reasonable map of the area.
See you on the 14th.

The Communique arrived today. It has the convention registration form on the back cover. Now the real test begins!
