Ok. The path forward on the ad/sponsorship letter is the following---
1. Dave McMillan USPS copies to any and all vendors that have advertised in the past year's Communique. He includes a copy of the vendor letter. Dan Schmidt aand Rob Wanthosue are lsited on the vendor letter and should get any requests for vendor space. Dave forwards any vendor requets he gets to Dan (indoor) or Rob (outdoor).
2. Al Lacki posts both the vendor and ad/sponsorship letter on the convnetion web site.
3. Al Lacki posts a notice on VV, FASTVAIRS , the Center and the Forum.
4. Bob Marlow posts both letters and leading information on the blog.
5. All convention committee folks provide copies to their respective clubs and try to get sponsorship.
6. All convention committee folks distribute copies of both letters to any vendor or organization in their local area that might be interested.

I accept that as high praise.

This is even higher praise. I re-wrote that thing many, many times in order to make it plausible yet with an element of doubt.

> On the subject of ads. I've only received a check from Cotrofeld. Joan Clark sent me a correspondence saying they wanted the inside cover, plus, but to date, that was all. I need to send them a reminder which I'll do right now. I could use a little help getting the sponsorship letter out locally (Ray? When you get back we can discuss and take action), but if perhaps you (Bob/Al/Brian) could send an e-mail blast to those vendors of the Corvair realm that you are acquainted with?????

We do need to contact all the potential advertisers, but I am sorry I am not in a position to help. I am currently working 72-hour weeks, and I just must limit what else I do. I am happy to continue writing, editing, etc, but someone else will need to do mail, e-mail, and so on.

What I can do, if you wish, is put this information on the blog, linking to the PDF file on the web site. I can do that just as soon as I take down the "last Corvair" thing...
