I agree with Jim.  Bill Griffith's article is good publicity. It is not realisitic to expect a journalist to write an article about Corvairs without acknowledging some of their idiosyncrasies.  My first Corvair leaked oil, had a smokey heater, spun-out in the rain, and dropped its powertrain when the trans mounts broke.  My next car was a Fiat 128SL, and only then did I realize what a good car my Corvair really was!  Al

Hi Convention Colleagues,

Al Lacki forwarded this to me and I thought I would share.

A few weeks back I contacted the Automobile Columnists for the Boston Globe, John Paul and Bill Griffith. I asked if they might be interested in giving us some space in their Paper or On-line forum.
Bill Griffith ended up giving us a write-up in the On Line Boston Globe Web site.

I know some thought there was a bit of "Trash talk" in the article, (check Corvair Center forum), and to that I would simply say, we got a write up in a major on-line publication 6 months in advance of the event ( good publicity no matter how you look at it).
