Next is for our erstwhile booklet editor, Dave.  How are we coming on settling advertising rates?  I've made two deals in which I traded space in our booklet.  The first trade was a 1/2 page to Automodelo for two models to be raffles off. (I described this in Message # 1.)  the second deal is for a 1/4 page ad for Best Blast of New Jersey, a company that does all types of media blasting and custom powder coating.  They will blast and powder coat the valve covers we will use as trophies for the valve cover races.  So, please reserve space in the booklet for these two items. I'll send you their artwork as soon as I get it.
Another item we need to work is the humorous awards for the car display.  Our plan is to mimic those given out at a local VW show.  Tim and Bill Cohen ware working the issue but w e need a progress report.
A big issue is obtaining timing equipment for the autocross.  I've made initial contact with CART, our long time partners at Lime Rock, but don't have a firm answer.  Does anyone in the NE area have any SCCA contacts that might be a lead on timing equipment? We have Stafford Springs locked up as the site of the autocross and now need to resolve this timing issue.
