     You’re no doubt wondering: Who’s this guy?
    I write an Auto Notes column that appears in the weekend editions of the Boston Globe’s Auto Supplement.
    Local AAA Car Doctor John Paul (a Corvair fan) passed along an email from Jim Forgey (JForgey4 at yahoo.com) asking for some pre-event publicity. To make the long story short, John passed Jim’s email along to me; however, it didn’t contain the original attachment and my attempt to email Jim bounced back. So I Googled the event and …. Here I am.
   A couple of questions from me:
1.      How many cars &  people do you expect for the gathering?
2.      Is there a local angle for me (ie, a Boston-area member with a notable car)?
3.      Does anyone have some photos they could send me along with an OK to use one with the column?
