Jamie--

Brian O'Neill has advised those of us in the NECC and on the 2012
convention committee that you wish to ensure that there is widespread
support within our group for the "guest registration" program he has put
forth.

Brian is opinionated and strong-willed. He is also smart and pragmatic
and he does not undertake things that have not been discussed and
approved by our group.

Many of the ideas for which he has lobbied have arisen not from him but
from the individual members. By the time a recommendation has reached
you it has been discussed, analyzed, reviewed, altered, tweaked -- and
approved by the group.

Individually we may not agree with every detail, but one of the
hallmarks of the NECC through the years is that while we have our
differences during our meetings, when the day of the event comes we are
all a team working together without dissension.

The "guest registration" proposal for the 2012 convention not only has
near-unanimous support within the convention committee, it has near
unanimous support across the membership of the NECC member clubs. It is
a prime example of a grassroots idea that needs to be embraced by the
national leadership. The individual Corvair owners believe that it will
lead to a larger and more successful convention in the short run, and a
larger and more successful CORSA in the long run.

When Brian speaks on behalf of the 2012 convention, he speaks on behalf
of the members of the 2012 convention committee and the members of the
NECC member clubs.

Regards --Bob
