This note is to let everyone know that the September `Vair Heels is ready to go to the printers.  We want to get on a schedule of sending out the newsletter so that CORSA/NC members receive it at the beginning of each month.  That way they can see what events they can attend that month and prepare for events early the next month.

We will start working on the October issue of the 'Vair Heels next week so we are asking you to send us any articles that you may want us to include.  We need to hear from each CORSA/NC member club President or each club's
designated 'Vair Heels contact for an update from your club.  Remember to send us your information as soon as you can but no later than the 22nd of the month.  We need to know what outings or events each club has coming up
through December 2005 so we can post it.  Also, please send us any items that you have for sale in your club.

We are also requesting that each CORSA/NC member club President or each club's designated 'Vair Heels contact send us the following information. 

1.  Each member's birthday.  Just the month and the date, DO NOT send the year.  This is for you and your spouse.
2.  Each member's wedding anniversary.  We need Month, Date and Year for this.
3.  New members.  Every time you get a new member in your club, please send us a photo of that person or couple, 
     along with a little information about them.  Such as where they are from, what type of Corvair they have (if they
     have one), how many children they have, etc.etc.

If anyone has any suggestions for the `Vair Heels we would love to hear from you.  When you receive your September newsletter, look in the upper left hand corner of the first page and you will see our e-mail address along with our home phone number just a little lower.  Articles for the October newsletter can be submitted now but we will need them no later than the 22nd of September.  So be working on something while you have time.  We will be out West for two weeks in mid-September so it is going to be very important that we receive all articles as early as possible so we can get the newsletter out by the first of October.  We will be returning on the 25th of September, so as you can see we are going to be pushing very hard to get the October newsletter ready.  We will only get the newsletter out on time if everyone gets their articles to us in a timely manner.  Everyone needs to be talking about the `Vair Heels in your monthly club meetings and encouraging everyone to send us an article or two each month.  Talking about the newsletter at every meeting will help keep it in the front of everyone's mind so that we can fill the newsletter each month.  Keep in mind we need enough articles to completely fill 12,  8x10 sheets of paper to have a full newsletter.  We received some really good articles for the September newsletter and we want to thank everyone that took the time to write them.  Next month we look forward to hearing from some members that did not get your articles in.  If your club is having an outing, send us an article on that event and if possible, some photos to go with it.  Photos always make the newsletters more personable.  There are six clubs in CORSA/NC and we realize that some of the clubs are smaller than others, but we look forward to hearing from each club, even if it is a very small article.  As a suggestion, articles can be about a new baby, someone who just got married, a new Corvair for some lucky person, tech tips, the loss of a club member, a club outing, etc.  Many of you can think of other things besides these ideas to write about so let's hear from you.  

We are very excited about editing the `Vair Heels and we are committed to giving 100% effort to it.  How much of a commitment are you and your club willing to give?  We look forward to hearing from everyone.
