[CORSA-NC-email-list] Couple of reminders

To All CORSA/NC members,

This coming Friday (October 19th) is the start of CORSA/NC 2007 Fall Corvair Affair.  The event chairpeople held their last meeting Saturday morning and now we are in the home stretch, making our final preparations.  As everyone knows there are still a lot of things left to do after we get to the hotel with setting up etc., but everyone here is very excited.  If anyone can help out with door prizes, bringing them with you Friday and you can give them to John & Gayle Boles or anyone in the hospitality room.  Anyone wishing to bring food for the hospitality room is also encouraged to do so.  If you have not already sent in your registration form to Ron Hawkins, please do so and don't forget to make your hotel reservations made.  There are still quite a few members that said they were coming but we have not heard.  You know you want to come and join in on what promising to be a great weekend.  So let us hear from you and have a safe trip to Charlotte, NC.  One last reminder.  Don't forget the CORSA/NC Quarterly meeting will be Sunday at the end of the Fall Corvair Affair.  We will be making nominations for the President position, Central Zone Director and Western Zone Directors position.  This is a great time for you to make a difference and to be heard.  

Now speaking to you as your newsletter editors :-)  We are asking everyone to please get your newsletter articles into us as soon as you can this month.  We are going to be "Dog" tired, to say the least, when we return home from the hotel and the newsletter dead line fall on Sunday, the last day of the show.  (oh my word)!   Anyway, we'll get it done.  But!  We really do need EVERYONE'S help.  We would love to start seeing those articles come through our e-mail now.  We already have the newsletter shell setup and are ready to start plugging in articles as they arrive.  We have already received one article and for this we really do appreciate.  Please let us hear from everyone soon.  Don't make us beg or have to wait until the last minute to get it finished this month.  If anyone would like to bring your article with you to the show, we will be glad to take them there.  Whatever it takes to get your article so that we do not feel so much of a crunch this month, we are willing to do to help you out.  We just need you guys and ladies to do the same to help us.  We have not heard from any of our ladies in a while.  How about it ladies?  If nothing else, don't you have some mouth-watering recipe that you would like to share with us?
