CCCC, Corsa/nc, and Queen City,


I wanted to pass on to everyone that dad (Dan the elder)  had a mini stroke yesterday.  He was going to the hospital for a simple procedure to clear a clogged vein in his leg.  While the were prepping him for the procedure, he had a mini stroke right after they took his blood pressure.  They say it is unrelated to the BP cuff.  



Right now he has limited movement in his right arm and cannot move his right hand. His legs and face are ok.  He has trouble finishing long sentences. He did not have the speech problem yesterday.  The speech therapist said that therapy may help.  She said also that it is since it is so soon since the stroke that it may be temporary.


The neurologist said yesterday that therapy may help his arm but he may not get his hand strength back (will be hard to use wrenches screwdrivers  etc.  



He is at Rex hospital right now, but it would be best for him not to receive any calls..   We are not sure how long he will be there.  



I can print any emails and give them to him
