        Dave,  you struck a nerve there with Uncle Tom, my favorite with
him, he was testing a '47 Oldsmobile 6. He said "Stepping on the accelerator
is like stepping on a wet sponge, you get a squish instead of a swish". He
was the greatest.
            Bob
