Subject: [FC] 2004 Convention Raffle Tickets on sale NOW

Hey guys and gals,
Just a short note to let you know that the host clubs for the 2004 CORSA
International Convention in Lexington, Kentucky, namely the Central Kentucky

Corvair and the Derby City Corvair clubs, have the raffle tickets for sale
now. The
tickets are $4.00 each. Partial proceeds will go to the Big Brothers & Big
Sisters of the Bluegrass, Inc., a nonprofit group that helps disadvantaged
and
underprivileged children here in the Commonwealth. Since we are doing this
"by
the book" Kentucky law does not allow us to sell group tickets at a
discount,
so the price is $4.00 each ticket if you want to buy one or one hundred. If
you are interested in purchasing any tickets, just drop me a line and I will
be
happy to inform you where to send the money and to whom you should make out
the check.
For our INTERNATIONAL members, I guess it would have to be a money order
made
out in US funds, but I reckon I'll jump off that bridge when we get to it.
If you want to see what the car looks like, just go to;
www.kycorsa.com
and you will see where to click.
If any of the newsletter editors out there would care to contact me I would
greatly appreciate it. If at all possible I would like to see if you could
put
a small blurb in your newsletter stating the sale of the tickets. We are
trying to get some "seed money" together so we can have a great convention
when the
time comes around in June next year.
I'm going to be out of town from early Friday through Sunday, down in the
western part of the state taking care of some family matters, but I will get
back
to everyone who is interested. Thanks for your support, and I really look
forward to seeing everyone in Lexington next June ... and I'm still working
on
the info for the group camping at the KY Horse Park.... I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
;-)
Thanks again,
Lonzo
