[FC] Some resuscitation advice please

when i run engines on my bench, i use a hose with a  rubber pump in line 
hooks up to an outboard tank on the floor to run from. safe, doesnt waste engine 
cranking time to fill carbs, and ...has outboard oil at 50:1 in it. doesnt seem 
to smoke much.  i also use a similiar arrangement to run our generator(18hp 
briggs engine) so i always have gas ready from my fishing boat. i have been 
doing this many years with no problems...regards tim colson
