well in my sleep...i remembered i own a full set of assembly manuals. so i have scanned the page from the 1964 FC manual (a CLARKS CORVAIR reprint project) into my computer and will send it to anyone who would like it. i have it in 2 sizes..i send the smaller one unless asked. hope this helps anyone who needs to know. they still dont explain the real need...regards tim colson
