Hey Charles,
Actually that design is a very good version. You don't have to worry about
losing the small screw down the guts of the distributor. And the spring
tension will hold forever, UNLESS something drastic goes wrong in the
interior while the shaft is spinning. But if that happens, everything is
going to be destroyed anyway.
You may also notice another deviation on the points surface. There will be a
HOLE in the center of the points!! Don't worry, these are a high perf
version that are supposed to run cooler.
Like I said, Don't worry, they will work perfectly.
