The steps that Keith set before us are great, but again, I want to let the
people asking for stuff on Greenbriers that I gave them BOTH VINs and told
them it was a Chevrolet Greenbrier Sport Wagon... they sent stuff for a FULL
SIZED car... I emailed them a second time to let them know that the
Greenbrier was a corvair based vehicle (the reason I thought they needed the
VIN in the first place) and they sent me the Corvair car info, and printed on
the front page is the notation to see the Chevy Truck Specifications book for
Greenbrier info.... So when you ask for something for a Greenbrier you MUST
ASK FOR BOTH the Corvair CAR packet and the Chevrolet TRUCK packets at the
same time. I haven't gotten my truck packet yet, and I hope they have more FC
info in them. I'll let you know when I get it.
One other thing... these people have been VERY NICE to me... I have asked
politely and have been very patient with them, and they have done the same
for me. I see it as a slight communication problem and their lack of
"vintage" product knowledge. I'd bet dollars to donuts that most of the
people answering these emails aren't old enough to remember a Corvair on the
streets when they were "common"... I'm not "too far" from this age group
myself... so please remember that when you write to them.
I hope this helps...
Later,
Lonzo
