i am running 51 jets on late carbs on a 164 cu in block. right now i still
have the 180hp heads with carbs/chokes installed because they were ready to
go
when i needed them. i will be putting 140 heads with 2 carbs back on soon.
my
driving season is coming to a close soon so will wait till the last old car
tour is over in october.i tried 50 jets and the difference was unbelievable!
it
was pinging and no poop at all.  just one size does a lot i guess.i just got
back from  about 700 miles of ny and vt driving with no problems. got to try
a
few good hills on the trip. ole rampy powerglide was a pleasure to drive.
