My blower fan looks like it has barnacles growing on it. Most pictures I have seen seem to show that the fan should be quite smooth. Should I get out the grinder and smooth off the lumps? Is it made of pure magnesium or some sort of alloy? (magnesium burns quite easily) How would I check for balance? thanx for your advice! Merv Krull Salmon Arm, BC
