When I was in Japan at Misawa AB, my boss bought a 61 Corvan from the
O'Club...100 bucks and then we found a ton of new parts down at the base
salvage yard waiting to be cut into scrap! I mean new too not Ultra!! He
fixed it up and took it back to the states with him when he PCS'd and was
still driving it a year later when I went to see him. I think that the
O'Club is in part funded with non- appropriated funds like the PX/BX
operations so it is still considered "military"....but I could be wrong!!

I don't know about "the Military" but I do know that at least one Corvan
(which used to, maybe still is owned by Louis Pinard) was the PX delivery
van on a US Navy base.
