I'd like to open, clean and insulate the plastic hot air duct on my 62 Rampside. Can the duct be split opened? I'm thinking of lining it with plastic bubble foil insulation and keeping it in place with spray adhesive. This smooth surface will allow greater air/flow. The insulation should give me more heat up-front. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
