[FC] oil filter

Wild Bill/Gary,  MY NAPA Dealer provided me with a NAPA (WIX ?) filter 
#1040.  It seems to be working fine for me, so I went ahead and ordered a 
case (save about $2.00 ea. that way).  I'm interested in why Gary's NAPA 
Dealer sold him #1038's and what the difference might be???
