[FC] fc bucket seats

I rebuild FC boomerang and idler arms. Some are sold by the Corvair
vendors and some are sold direct. I charge $75 plus shipping with a
rebuildable core. I do not sell them without a rebuildable core. To be
rebuildable the large stud end must be good. It must not be loose or so
frozen so that it can't turn. It must take grease and expel it in four
ribbons. This indicates the internal nylon parts are still
serviceable. I don't care about the small stud end. This is what gets
replaced with new parts.

I pay core prices $5-10 plus shipping. I pay the most when I can
inspect the part before purchase like at a Corvair show. Currently, I'm
not accepting any orders. One of the steps in rebuilding requires TIG
welding with a special fixture. I've found it impossible to find a
replacement welder for my good friend who did this for me.
Unfortunately, he has passed away. I've concluded I need to purchase a
TIG welder and do the job my self. Currently Clarks and Larry Claypool
has my boomerangs in stock. As you can expect this is a very low demand
item and it's a marginal hobby type business. I do it only to return
something to the Corvair community that has given me years of friendship
and fun. I am buying cores in anticipation of being back in business
sometime next spring.
