Hi J R;
   Thanks for the location pic's they came out great, I have been reluctant on drilling it but if I don't it will never get done. I was talking to a guy that use to work on the Corvairs and several times he has had to drill holes for seat belts and he told me of a simple solutiontake a small 2X4 block useing the size bit drill into the block all the way threw clean the hole from chips or splinter's readjust the bit in the chuck to where only 1/2" of the bit is exposed and your good to go, he guaranteed me that you'll not hit anything. It sound logical to me. AQgain thanks fo the pic's.

I can't help other than to warn to not drill into the gas tank! Or other
vitals for that matter.
