Hello,

Following the recent thread on shock absorbers, I am pleased to report
another cross application that works very well. I have installed Bilstein
P//N B46-0925 shocks (for 1971-2000 Dodge B100-200 vans) on the front and
rear of our '65 Greenbrier (#1000) and have been happy with their
performance on our 4880 mile trip to/from Portland, OR. There are only two
minor modifications required to make them fit:
1) The bolt holes in the lower mounting eyes need to be elongated toward
the center because the Corvair bolt spacing is smaller. I did this with a
carbide burr mounted in an electric drill.
2) The openings in the rear A-arm are slightly too small for the shock body
to slip through. I widened the openings a bit using a blunt punch tool in
an air hammer. Take it easy as it does not need to be opened up very much.

Also, you will need to use stock type rubber or polyurethane upper mounting
bushings and washers, not the bushings that come with the Bilsteins.
