[FC] DOUBLE RAMPY? hoax or real?

I had a rusty Rampside that was starting to break in half. The "dog legs"
in front of the rear wheels were rusted out. I ended up building a steel
tubing frame that I bolted the full length of the frame rails and then ran
supports up the dog legs and welded them to what was left. It fixed the
problem and the next owner is still driving it.

I'm not sure where Rampsides get their strength. If they depend on the
drivers side to keep the rigidity, I would expect cracks starting for
either side of the ramp door which I never see. That being said, I can't
see where the rigidity comes from.
