Kumho... from Finland.... very good tires!!!!!! I have them on my 01
Silverado. Found ourselves stuck in a blizzard on I-8 between San Diego and
El Centro in the Tecate Pass. Well, WE werent stuck. Traffic stopped due to
a van that wiped out against a girder. Because the traffic stopped, engines
reduced the heavy snow to ice underfoot. Big rigs couldnt get going again...
most other vehicles including the 4WD SUVs just slid to the side. Then here
we are, the only people from the Great White North, driving on ice and snow
in a high pass only inches away from the Mexican border, just proceding
without difficulty towing a 22 ft 5th wheel trailer... why? Cuz we had Kumho
ice and snow radials and a locking rear end. Anyone see the irony? Sounds
like a commercial, eh? Yay Chev! Yay Kumho! Please have your people talk to
my people and we'll consider making a few commercials.....
toodles
