[FC] Not one, not two, but THREE rim sizes for FCs!!!!

You missed the point. Rim width is measured where the tire sits not
outside. The stock width is 5 inches, bead to bead. I know of no other
size. The 62, 63 ,64 supplements show no other rim widths for the FC and
the 65 shop manual does not have FC specifications. Since the FC wheels
were unique to the FC, it is possible that when originals were damaged or
someone wanted wider wheels the "A" body car or station wagon wheels were
substituted. "A" bodied six cylinder cars came with 5 inch wide rims, V-8
with 5.5 inches, and station wagons came with 6 inch wide rims as a general
rule. The early "A" had 13 inch diameter wheels but with disk brakes they
all had 14 inch or larger rims. You could specify a different tire size
and also different diameters for the "A" bodied cars but all FC's came with
7.00 x 14 tires in either 4 or 6 ply rating. The short answer is any rim
over 5 inches in width is not an original FC rim per the shop manual.
